Close price: Prices moved strongly up yesterday, as deep concerns grow over Europe. Germany has moved to stage 2 or its 3 stage gas emergency. Stage 2 allows domestic suppliers to pass the full cost of gas onto customers to attempt to encourage consumption reduction.
Opening price: Prices are a tad down this morning. Greater gas imports via Langled are helping near term supply. Temperatures remain above seasonal norms despite reducing today from recent highs.
