Despite the hottest day of 2021 and the UK consuming its lowest daily amount of gas in years, prices moved up, gaining almost all of Friday’s losses as oil, carbon and gas prices in Europe all up strongly. Prices are trading sideways this morning, with no clear direction with the system balance and demand slightly up.
